Malcolm,
The 4500 will connect just like a 2500; of course, you need the hood to plug
the RJ45 connector into.
The different models of Cat 5500 supervisor cards require different cables.
We use to have sup-I and sup-II at work and I'm pretty sure we used standard
cables (either rollover or straight-thru, I forget which). We upgraded to
sup-III and I had to build my own cable (found the pinout on the web). I
built two: one to go from PC's COM1 to sup-III and one to go from
2511-octal-cable to sup-III. I may be able to dig up the pinout for you if
you have a sup-III. What supervisor do you have?
