Clarence,
Last time I debugged spanning tree issues between cisco and foundry boxes, I
used sniffer. You can also use tcpdump on *nix box in conjuction with span
port.

Subject: Layer 2 trace

Does anyone know of any good applications capable of a layer 2 trace? I am
tweaking spanning-tree in my network and want to be assured of my path
selection. I know CiscoWorks is capable but am looking for a small app.
Thanks. =20 =20 =20
