Hi,
What I do is create several Hyperterminal icons like lab_con, 1_lab_r1, 2_lab_r
2 each using the specify port number 23 for lab_con, 2001 for 1_lab_r1, 2002 fo
r 2_lab_r2.
PC-<IP Cloud>--Termianl_server--<async>--router's console(R1,R2...consoles).
So far so good.

Thanks all who replied. The reason I tried to use telnet is so I can open
multiple windows to see packets passing between different routers. The
escape character on my terminal server console port is default (<ctrl>6x)
and router's escape character is "@". From what I can see from the replies,
it doesn't seem the pc telnet is worth much if there are too many routers
involved. Buffer size and the chacter delay is also a problem as far as I
can tell. I guess I have to go back to my old Hyperterminal for now.
