Multicast RP with Sparse Mode

Hello,

I'm trying to nail down a rendezvous point group address to something other
than what you get with default "auto-rp", i.e. - 224.0.1.40 AND see it on an
"rp-hash" output. I am using a different multicast address which shows up
correctly as the rp group (224.0.4.4) however under the rp-hash only the
auto-rp group address (224.0.1.40) is showing up.

I tried using the override keyword but that doesn't seem to help. Example: ip
pim rp-address 192.168.1.1 override

Is this normal behavior or am I missing something? Does the rp-hash only apply
to auto-rp?

Here's the output of the sh ip pim rp, rp-hash and a pertinent config, and
debug ip pim/clear ip mroute.

r1#sh ip pim rp
Group: 224.0.4.4, RP: 192.168.1.1, next RP-reachable in 00:01:05

r1#sh ip pim rp-hash 224.0.4.4
No RP available for this group
