Passed yesterday at RTP. I was kind of reluctant to send this email because
the last several months have been very humbling for me, however I feel
obligated to give back to this list.... so here we go:
  - the lunch was not worth $1250, but the opportunity to fail it once was
  - I really liked the books from Doyle and Halabi
  - but after reading those three books cover-cover, I found Caslow's book
didn't have much to add
  - everything you need to know is on CCO, however this list helped me
understand the nuts and bolts of particular features
  - my wife wants me to mention how nice she was to me through all this...
  - Bought both Hutnik/Satterlee books... "Practice Kit" was great because
of the detailed explanations... "Study Guide" didn't do much for me.
  - I did not attend any formal training
  - for the past six months, I have had 24x7 VPN access from home to a
10-router pod with Cat5, Cat29, ATM and 2 real ISDN circuits
  - I did not need formal training
  - debug is really cool
  - Practice labs are best when they include final config's and explanations
  - Fatkid is underpaid
  - During my first lab, I was so excited when they told me I could run to
my car and get my colored pens
  - my teenage kids are already over it
  - Took my written test for free w/o studying at Networkers 2001, and
that's what got this ball rolling. 12 months ago, I would have never
dreamed...
  - I know realize just how much I do not know.

Thanks Paul.
