After a very long and ugly battle, I finally earned my seat at the table
yesterday in San Jose. I'll keep it short and sweet since I haven't slept
in 34 hours. I really can't add too much to what others have said except to
say that persistence is key--keep your eye on the prize at all times. It's
not a sprint, it's a marathon--if you fall behind on the first leg, don't
worry it's a long race. The people that succeed are the ones who want it
the most.

SLEEP. . . .

Special thanks:

--To all the people over the years who said I wasn't good enough. I
couldn't have done it without you.

--To Carl for answering all the annoying questions and offering up all the
pep talks. Happy hour is on me!

--To my mother for keeping me from going off the deep end when it was all
slipping away.

--To my dogs for teaching me that their is always time for a good game of
tug-of-war.

--To my wonderful wife Christy for putting up with all the mood swings,
blank stares, late nights and giving me that final push that I so
desperately needed.

--Most of all to my father for teaching me the things necessary to be
successful in life. This one's for you Dad!

Sincerely,
