I do not know about next march. All I know that the TR is up and running in
lab exam. Also you do not need to buy a 3920. It costs a lot of money. Just
study the theory very good and before your lab rent a couple of two days
virtual rack. You do not need more than couple of hours to learn how to
configure the TR switch. Using the Virtual rack, you also will be able to
utilize ATM interfaces, VoIP routers and the cat5000 switch if you do not
have one. Good luck.

Subject: RE: A question on token ring,
Any one know if token ring is being removed from the CCIE lab,
I was going to purchase some token ring interface's, a Mau and a 3920 switch
but I am now wondering if I need to
I wont be doing the lab until next march.
I saw some commemts in the archives that it was possibily going to be
removed soon,
Maybe I should wait and see what it is replaced with and maybe buy other
equipment that might be needed
Anyone any idea's on this point
Any help appreciated.
Kind regards
