Edmund,

See the following link. You should be able to figure it out from there.

        Subject: Terminal Server problem

        Hi Group,

I am having this problem with my 2511. It is configured as a terminal
server. The 2511 is attached with a octal cable and one of the end of t
he
octal cable is connected to the console of a router named RTRA. When I
tried
to reverse telnet to the routers, I don't see any output or input that
the
enter on the terminal server. But any configuration input that I done o
n the
reverse telnet is actually input into the router RTRA through I can see
 any
echo on the terminal server. This is a very strange problem. Any sugges
tion
on what is the problem. Thanks.

        Edmund
