What IOS version are you running? I used to have a 3Com cable modem and it work
ed fine at the time. I have today a Motorola with a 2621 running 12.1.5.T9 and
it also works great. Are you able to get an IP address if you connect your rout
er to an ethernet segment with a DHCP server?
