HI Dennis,

Thanx for your message.

I reviewed, the contents on your website, however I am back with the main
problem, as I need to design or setup a scenario with the equipment I have
so that I can simulate or practice the lab scenarios.

I know I can create an FR network, but I would also like to play around with
the ethernet and fddi as currently these are the only resources I have. I
want to concentrate on BGP inter AS routing and the same with OSPF.

Any ideas are welcome.

Smiles,

MOhit.

A while back I put together a document with beginning CCIE Lab preparation
advice, along with what I thought made a good pod. This is mostly a
compilation of advice from the history of the group. You'll find it at www.
laganiere.net. I hope you find it useful...

Thanks...

HI All,

Could one of you please help me.

I have the following equipment.
1 7507 router with 8 serial ports, 2 fddi ports, and 4 AUI ports.
1 7507 router with 4 serial ports, 2 fddi ports and 8 AUI ports.
4 2514 routers with 2 serial and 2 AUI ports each.
2900 catalyst with 2 FE ports and 14 10/100 ports

I have 4 DTC-DCE cables so can only simulate 4 WAN links.
I have the reuired cables for both ethernet and fddi.

I am trying also to get two 2503's with BRI ports so I can simulate ISDN
net.

However for the mean time could some of you please advice on as to what will
be the best setup for an effective practice lab, with the equipment that I
have.

Thanx,
