The 2500 series routers run the IOS from flash amd have max 16MB of RAM, if you
boot from a tftp server a big image the router will run out of RAM and won4t w
ork, the best option is to buy more flash. The 2600 series and most of the othe
r cisco routers run IOS from RAM so with those you4ll have no problem booting f
rom tftp server. Take a look:
