What platform are you doing this on? Some routers (2500's for example)
are run-from-flash routers, which means that even though you might have
enough DRAM to run a particular IOS image, if you don't also have enough
flash to store it, it will not be able to tftp boot and you will get an
error. (generally a checksum error or a timeout)
