My understanding is you need an organization to sponsor you and demonstrate
that you have a need for such clearance.

Subject: TOTALLY OT: Security Clearance

Okay before I get started I just want to apologize for sending an OT post,
but I figured with so many people who read this list surely someone has some
info.

I am trying to find out how someone would go about getting a security
clearance. I had a TS/BI when I was in the AF, but it has expired and since
I am no longer in the military I'm not sure the process for getting one. If
anyone has any info or can at least point me in the right direction I would
greatly appreciate it.

Again, sorry for the OT post.

Thanks!

Eric
