Curtis, I had run across the same prob. a week ago. And I used keepalive 0
on both the ends (if using promiscuous on one end, use prom-peer-default and
set keepalive 0) to resolve it.
I think it should work for you.

ps. this url doesnt refer to netbios keepalive filter, but you will need it
in your case since you are using NETbios stations (aka windoze pc's)
