No I haven't used SRM in a large multicast environment though I would
be suprised if SRM was the issue. I would think having 4 routers
running between two 6509's would be more prone to multicast problems.
With SRM you are basically running in a fashion similiar to redundant
RSP's which has been avaialable for years.
I never heard of the ROMMON config so I don't understand it's
mechinations but it just doesn't make sense to me. Sounds no differant
than having a cold spare sitting on your desk.
