I havent tried it, but I suspect it should work. Have a loopback address on
both ends, and set up the tunnel with source and destination of these
addresses (obviously both ends need to know both these addresses via routing
protocol means etc.) . Then setup HSRP for the physical ports. I guess it
should work.
