What is the max # of Sync Serial interfaces that can be multilinked?

Does anyone know definitely the max # of T1's (Syncrhonous Serial)
interfaces that can be inverse multiplexed using Multilink PPP. I checked
the Cisco Web site and I saw 4 ?
