I suggest using hdlc in this case but I've done ppp many times and it
shouldn't make a
difference.
Chuck, I noticed the config of the Adtran below is configured to receive
clocking from the other end. Have you verified that the other end is
configured as the clock source?
Framing is set for c-bit. Have you verified that the circuit was
provisioned with c-bit framing and not M13? If so is the other end of the
T3 set for c-bit and has scrambling enabled (although line should be down if
they don't match)?
I had a similar problem with a customer that had a brand new Adtran (don't
remember which model). He insisted it was not a faulty Adtran, it was brand
new etc., etc., but it turned out to be faulty.
