I am not totally convinced there is a good reason to use dialer-watch &
demand circuit at the same time.
Demand circuit will come up when there is a change in topology, or
traffic destined for a network that best suits the path through the dial
interface, but will shut back down when no traffic is flowing.
Dialer-watch will bring up the circuit & keep it up as long as the
network you are watching is no longer in the routing table.
I am thinking why keep the line up if no traffic is surpassing the link
anyways?

Hi Group,
1.when there is a watch list with ospf demand circuit and if that
network in the watch list is down , bri circuit will go up. Am i
right?
2. when there is no watch list and only ospf demand circuit and if
that
network is down then also bri circuit will go up because of change in
tropology. Am i right?
Then what is the advantage of dilaer-watch with ospf demand circuit.
Thanks,
Beda
