Hello,

Can someone describe briefly the issues with using the router-id commands in
OSPF and BGP. There was some talk in the past about sync issues between the
protocols.

Is it mandatory to use the same ID for both protocols?
If so, under what circumstance?

Any help understanding is appreciated.
