I just got a 3202 the other day. On a side note, I finally understand
where the IGS boot rom screen comes from on a 2500. It seems that the
3202 at one time was the model 2202. I found a reference on CCO about
the 2202 and 3202 being either the same, or very close to being the same
router. So the 3000 series is a predecessor to the 2500 series.

Anyway, my model takes eight 32 pin dip flash chips. Right now, it is
populated by eight AM28F020 AMD flash chips. These are 12 volt 2Mbit
chips.

There's jumper setting next to the flash chips for either 1/2/4 or 8
megs. Which leads me to believe that that the unit can support 1/2/4/8
meg flash ram chips. Thought I don't think 8 mbit chips come in a 32
pin package. I'm guessing the jumper sets the programming voltage from
12 volts to 5 volts for 8 mbit chips.

So, does anyone have information, or a url of where I can lay my hands
on some 32 pin type 28F, 4 or 8 Mbit bulk erase flash chips?

Thanks for Your Time,

Michael
