Subject: ISDN backup with IPX - ccbootcmap lab 8
Has anyone tested the ISDN backup with IPX by bringing down the IPX network
with "IPX down" command?.
I am trying to test the same , but doesn't seem to work. However, if I shut
down the physical interface (Ethenet in R1 or R2), the ISDN kicks off. This
is becoz I am also using IP with ospf demand circuit. How to achieve this
with the "IPX down " commnad?.
Here is the scenario:
ipx n/w 6005
R2----------isdn--------------R1
| |
| |
| ipx n/w 695 |
| |
-------------------------------------
|
|
|
R3
R1,R2 and R3 are connected via Ethernet with HSRP.
Regards,
Harish
