Hi everyone,
1. In a hub with spokes environment, if you are asked to reserve 32K bandwidth
using RSVP, are the following correct ? In other words, should the [interface-k
bps] be the sum of spokes ?
ip rsvp bandwidth
[interface-kbps] [single-flow-kbps]
Hub router config
Interface s0
bandwidth 128
ip rsvp bandwidth 64 16
Spoke-1
Interface s0
bandwidth 64
ip rsvp bandwidth 32 16
Spoke -2
Interface s0
bandwidth 64
ip rsvp bandwidth 32 16
2. Bandwidth command is used by some routing protocols. When it comes to QoS co
nfiguration, is it always neccessary to include the correct " bandwidth " state
ment ? For example, when you do RSVP, CQ , CAR, WRED ......If yes, should the
bandwidth be the value of real CIR (32K), access rate ( 128K ) or physical line
speed ( 1544K ) ?
3. Which interface do you config WRED inbound, outbound or both ?
thanks in advance,
Lee
