Hi Dave,

I'm curious (especially since I wrote the original post) as to where you
purchased your copy of the book and received it so quickly. Noone that has
written back to me,. either publicly or privately, has found the new OSPF
book yet. I know Parkhurst's book that he put out in 1998 for OSPF was not
spectacular. I, like alot of others, am hoping that Parkhurst's CiscoPress
OSPF book will be as great as his BGP book. I appreciate your comments,
it's rare when I see a review so scathing.

Thx,
Sean

Dave,

One think I liked about his BGP book was that he had real examples of each
command that really helped me reinforce my understanding of how the command
worked and when/why it was used. Does he do this in his OSPF book also?

Thanks,

Tim

one of the poorest books you will ever get, cut/paste job from cisco cco,
check out the ospf design guide which is free or the local newspaper shop
for better reading
