Mamoor,
The distance of external EIGRP routes can only be changed by
using the 'distance eigrp' command. The 'distance' command only applies
to internal EIGRP routes. Therefore this means that you can't change
the distance of external EIGRP on a per route basis. Instead of
lowering the distance of external EIGRP on a per route basis, raise the
distance of the other protocol that has the lesser distance for that
route. Otherwise you would have to change the distance all of the
external EIGRP routes.
