IRDP question

I understand IRDP and its options, but something puzzles me...

Once IRDP is configured on lets say 3 routers with all Ethernet interfaces in
one vlan, what needs to be configured on the switch? I think you need to set
default routes to all 3 ethernet interfaces, but am not sure.

And secondly, how would a PC be configured to take advantage of IRDP, if that
is possible.
