Hi group,
Currently I'm trying to make redistribute between EIGRP and OSPF.
The scenario is like below:
R1 --Eth-- R2 --Eth-- R3
All the routers share the same major subnet, such as: 10.0.0.0.
On R1 and R2 is running OSPF and the IP subnet is 10.12.1.0 /24.
On R2 and R3 is running EIGRP and the IP subnet is 10.23.1.0 /24.
On R2, I made the mutual redistribution for these two routing protocols.
But I found one problem here. On R3, the subnet on R1-R2 is appear as EIGRP
internal not external since these two protocols share the same major subnet.
I've already tried using distance, distribute-list commands with no luck.
I know that in the new IOS version, we can use wildcard mask in EIGRP to solve
this problem.
But is there anybody know how to prevent subnet R1-R2 to become EIGRP internal
without using wildcard mask?
Thanks,
Chris
