There is a difference, "dlsw mac-address" is a dlsw static entry to a remote
peer (for outgoing traffic) and "dlsw icanreach mac-address" is a static
that refers to local reachablity and is advertised to peers during the
capabilities exchange (for incoming traffic). HTH....

Subject: about dlsw configuration.

hi, all
i have a question about dlsw.

is there any difference about following commands?

dlsw mac-addr 1000.5A12.3456 remote-peer int se0/0
dlsw icanreach mac-addr 1000.5A12.3456
                 mask ffff.ffff.ffff

i think these commands are the same result.
am i incorrect?

thanks.
