George,

Here are the configs for setting up FREEK. If you choose bidirectional, as
the example below, you need to install on both ends (the DLCI will shut down

if you don't). Notice R6 has subinterfaces; if you set up FREEK on the
physical interface, you would need it on all remote FR routers. If you just

want to monitor one DLCI, then set it up on the subinterface for that one:

R6 (with subinterfaces):

map-class frame-relay FREEK
frame-relay end-to-end keepalive mode bidirectional

interface Serial1
no ip address
encapsulation frame-relay

interface Serial1.1 point-to-point
ip address 172.28.1.6 255.255.255.240
frame-relay class FREEK
frame-relay interface-dlci 614

R14 (without subinterfaces):

map-class frame-relay FREEK
frame-relay end-to-end keepalive mode bidirectional

interface Serial0/0
ip address 172.28.1.14 255.255.255.240
encapsulation frame-relay
frame-relay class FREEK
frame-relay map ip 172.28.1.6 146 broadcast
frame-relay map ip 172.28.1.14 146 broadcast
no frame-relay inverse-arp
