i agree with donny...
i guess the config should be something like this:
int e1/0
----------56k-----------
rate-limit input access-group 100 48000 1000 2000
conform-action transmit
exceed-action drop
rate-limit output access-group 100 48000 1000 2000
conform-action
transmit
exceed-action drop
access-list 100 permit ip any any
access-list 100 permit tcp any any
access-list 100 permit udp any any
the first parameter after access group 100 is in bits
per second, second parameter-normal burst is in bytes
per second and the third parameter-max burst is in
bytes. So, 1000 should give 1000bytesx8=8000bits and
2000bytesx8=16000bits.
Correct me if i am wrong.
