Use the broadcast keywork when you want to forward broadcasts over the ISDN
p2p link, i.e some routing protocols may require this action or some
applications maybe broadcast based.

Turn CDP off if you do not want to run this layer 2 protocol over ISDN, CDP
is used to discover directly connected neighbours and provide basic
information about the connected device.

Subject: ISDN statement ( broadcast & no cdp enable)

Guys & Gals,

At the risk of beating a dead horse, does anyone can tell us
when to use the "broadcast" keyword with BRI interface
in the "dialer map" statement and when to use
keywords "no cdp enable" under the BRI interface ?

Regards,

Sylvain
