I would go for the ISDN Simulator (aside from resale value) the ISDN link
has more incidence in the configuration of all your core technologies than
the CAT so you should know how each protocol behave on such a link, without
breaking NDA (and let's not make a tread out of this) make a list of the
possible things you get to configure on the CAT and I'm sure it's something
you can read in a book and rent a few hours on a remote lab.
Well one way or the other good lick and check what's best for you (if you
feel weak on ISDN go for it, if you feel week on the CAT that should be your
choice)
