I was there during the week, and didn't think to ask in advance for a
non-meat lunch. They served chicken, broccoli, and rice. I had the
broccoli and rice, which was fine since your stomach isn't exactly the
primary thing on your mind that day! My next one's on a Saturday, so I'm
glad to hear about the pizza.

my two trips were to RTP - both on a weekend and they just ordered pizza.
The 1/2 cheese, 1/2 meat pizza seemed to work for the vegetarians that were
sitting the lab with me...I have no clue what they do during the week when
the cafeterias are open.

I hope this doesn't constitute an NDA violation :-) Since it's
not about the test itself, I think I'm fairly safe. Also, it's
possibly quite minor, but is the sort of thing that could help on the
day:
When you get your lab confirmation and it invites you to tell Cisco
if you are "handicapped or have special needs", you should probably
tell them about dietary requirements.
I'm a vegetarian, but didn't imagine this was exotic enough to
constitute a "special need". On the day in Brussels, it was so hard to
tell whether the items at lunch were or weren't vegetarian that I had
one safe-looking roll, and some bananas and walnuts.
Second time round, I've emailed in advance saying I have a special
need. They appear to have initially interpreted this as a complaint
that the food at my first lab was unsanitary or unwholesome, or
something. I've attempted to clarify that I only want vegetarian items
to be labelled if already present, or provided (and identifiable) if not.
I think we now understand each other. They've said that bringing a
packed lunch _may_ be easier for everyone. I think I'll do that just
in case.
