one thing you will see though if you are doing sniffer traces with the
teamed nic's is duplicate ip address messages. this is because the cards
share the ip. it doesnt cause any problems though. just be aware of the
fact.

yeah, its called NIC-Teaming i believe. You plug each NIC into a different
hub/switch. I think compaq sells a few models.
