Jason, congrats! Thanks for the valuable tips too! Hey don't forget to edit
your signature. It needs one more number in addition to the phone numbers
now :)

Subject: CCIE 9100!!!!!!!!!!!
All,
Got my number on Monday the 8th. I had my first attempt in November last
year and failed due to a bad approach to the exam. This time rather than
study the technology too much I looked at my technique more. On both
attempts I finished well ahead of time, however my configs after my first
attempt probably looked like a dog's breakfast!!
My suggestion to all of you still studying is to take a look at what you
know and be really honest about how well you know it. If you think you know
something but you don't really then I think your number will elude you.
Although I have all the standard books that are discussed on this forum, my
main study material this time were the config guides and command references.
I figure I have input every command available on a router using this
approach.
The other thing that you need to do to nail this is have a very methodical
approach to your exam. As I said my first attempt was a mess although my
marks were pretty good. What won it for me the second time was being more
methodical and neat with my configs.
Good luck to all of you still studying - remember if you are honest with
yourself about what you know and what you don't then you are well on your
way to getting there!
Thanks to all those who answered my questions on this forum when my brain
was too fried for me to figure things out.
Cheers and all the best,
Jason
