I used a Netgear home router. It's configuration is default out of the box,
except that I changed the admin password and created a rule to have incoming
telnet sessions redirected to the internal address of my terminal server.
The Netgear interface is pretty straight forward, and the router is less
then $200 (it might even be less then $100 by now)... You don't need a
crossover cable because your going to the Ethernet port on the terminal
server.

i think this thread has been mentioned before but i cant find it in the
archives. does any one have a config for having a cable modem and the isp
gives you 1 ip. i want to attach it to my terminal server and connect to my
pod from work through telnet. im assuming i would need a cross over cable?
