When configuring DDR ipx dialer maps, should the dialer map point to the mac
address of the router on the far side or the near side? I am using IPX
eigrp and IPexpert lab 19 has the dialer map pointing to the IPX MAC on the
near side not the far side. I tried it both ways, and it seems to work
either way. The IPX EIGRP routes get in the table irrespective of how I
configure it.. Here is a the IPexpert BRI configs to give you a clearer
picture of what I am asking....
hostname R2
interface BRI0
mac-address aaaa.bbbb.2222
ip address 150.50.9.2 255.255.255.192
no ip directed-broadcast
encapsulation ppp
ip ospf message-digest-key 1 md5 cisco
ip ospf network broadcast
dialer idle-timeout 60
