Hi Steve,
As far as clip and svc, all Fore ASX switches come with pre-defined UNI and
ILMI vc's (0,5 and 0,16). So, you shouldn't need to do any configuration on
the BX for CLIP and SVC's. You might need to muck with UNI version if you
can't get SVC's to activate however. As far as PVC's , it really depends on
which version of FT your 200bx is running. Here's an example of a PVC on
FT6.2 :
ccie_soon:-> conn chan new -iatmif 1a1 -ivpi 0 -ivci 100 -oatmif 1b1 -ovpi
0 -ovci 200 -nam cisco
This command creates a PVC from port 1A1 VPI/VCI 0/100 to port 1B1 VPI/VCI
0/200. Here is a display of the connections:
Input Output
AtmIf VPI VCI AtmIf VPI VCI ServCat Protocol Name
1A1 0 5 1CTL 0 33 nrtVBR fsig N/A
1A1 0 16 1CTL 0 34 nrtVBR fsig N/A
1A1 0 100 1B1 0 200 UBR pvc cisco
You'll need to create the PVC in both directions. If I remember correctly,
versions < FT6.2 asked you if you wanted to create the opposing PVC and then
did it automatically.
For pre FT6.2, I think the command was "conf vcc new ...blah..blah.." but
it's been awhile.
HTH, Gregg
