W/o any configuration at router :
(R1-to0)-{[crf15]-\brf15/-[crf16]}-(to0-R2)
- SRT on Ca39xx, no further configuration require for R1 and R2
- SRB on Cat39xx, multiring [all | ip | ipx} on R1 and R2, will allow IP,IPX to
reach.
If you want to configure DLSW or RSRB, then you need to configure Vr,bridge num
ber, and ring number at router. Only the ring number of token ring interface mu
st be the same as the CRF
ring number that it connected. You can use any bridge number in the router. So
it will look
like this :-
Vr is source bridge ring-group xx
{R1(vr_#)-\br_#/-(as crf15)-to0}-{[crf15]-\brf15/-[crf16]}-{to0-(as crf16)-\br#
/-(vr#)R2}
As far as routable protocols is concern R1 and R2 are still in the same lan.

Subject: RE: 3920 operation questions
Parry,
What's the correct configuration for the second case then? Is it:
R1 - CRF15 - BRF15
------------------
int to0
source-bridge 15 15 16
R2 - CRF16 - BRF15
------------------
int to0
source-bridge 16 15 15
?
Thanks in advance,
Geoffrey
