Hi folks,

I was reading an older posting about ISDN
Backup with OSPF demand circuit and dialer watch.

The poster have used both Dialer watch and demand circuit together

My Question:

If i use demand circuit did i need techn. like dialer
watch or snapshot routing as well? I think not but am i right?

I am trying out now dialer watch with IGRP.

2 Routers connected over serial line, both routers use ISDN with dialer
watch for backup, if i shut the serial the BRIs comes up, no problem.

After few minutes i type no shut on the serial Interface and in this
case both the BRI and serial are up. This scenario creates me a routing
loop because incoming IGRP updates are forwarded out the BRI and
vice versa on the other side. The routes are in "possible down" state
and becbuse the routes are watched never appears in the routing table.

Does anybody have a solution for this Problem?
