BGP & NTP will work on the 1600's, you just need the right code!

Subject: Re: ISIS on a 1600 series
Unfortunately ISIS is not supported on the 1600 series.
I have the same problem myself & I have 4 1600's in my lab.

I am having trouble running ISIS on a 1601 router. Has anyone been able to
get it to work?? do I have a bad version of IOS. I downloaded the latest
version (from the 12.1 series) 12.1.14. Still no luck. When I am at the
following prompt. This is what I get
router(config)#router isis
router)config)#
it never goes into the configuration mode for isis. On my 2500 series I have
no problem. Can the 1600 even support ISIS?
thanks for any help
-Brian
