Paul,
Are you using a partially meshed frame-relay ?
Are you using priority statements undr the interfaces?
Are you using neighbour statements under the routing protocol
Further more, are your FR PVC's active.

Let's see ur config

Subject: OSPF Stuck in Ex-Start

Hi All,

Has anyone come across a problem with OSPF whereby the Neighbour adjacency
process
becomes stuck in the EX-Start state?

I am currently working on a lab that is working with OSPF and frame relay
and I am stuck with this problem. I have tried everything I can think of
but
it is all starting to look a little hazy now and config blindness is
beginning to set in!

I can post my configs if necessary but though I would see if anyone else
has come across this before? If you have I would love to know how you
resolved this.

I have had a looked on CCO (Bug finder also). There are references to a
stuck in Ex-start but it is mainly put down to miss matched MTU's which is
not a problem as all routers are set to the default of 1500. Sequence
numbers are also a possibility, but I haven't the faintest idea where to
start with these!

Thanks, Paul
