Ahmed,

I think we are both wrong as ? matches any single character and * is used to
match anythiong at the end of the string. So unless we know how many
characters we wish to match we can't do this. See this URL from the command
reference:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/ibm_
r/brprt1/br1dsrb.htm#xtocid112123

_r/brprt1/br1dsrb.htm#xtocid112123>

Usage Guidelines
Table 15 <br1dsrb.htm> explains the pattern-matching characters that can be
used.

Table 15: Station Name Pattern-Matching Characters Character Description

* Used at the end of a string to match any character or string of
characters.
? Matches any single character. If this wildcard is used as the first
letter of the name, you must precede it with a CNTL-V key sequence.
Otherwise it will be interpreted by the router as a request for help.

I dont think so * will work in this scenerio in this
scenrio...
Hongtu is asking for (where x can be any number or words) .
So "?" will do
                the trick
