- Procedure to Test DLSW -

R1 ----- R2 ----- R3 ----- R4

Dlsw is configured between R2 and R3

R1 is pretending to be the Mainframe/FEP

R4 is pretending to be the client/PU2

Config in R1:

dspu host FEP xid-snd 06060606 rmac 0000.0c19.39c9 rsap 4 lsap 4

interface FastEthernet0/1.151

mac-address 0007.0eb4.9ec1 (has to be bit swaped -00E0.702D.7983- to enter the
config in R4)

no ip address (if youre running between 2 eth or 2 token
no bit swap needed)

dspu enable-host lsap 4

dspu start FEP

Config in R4:

dspu pu PU2 rmac 00e0.702d.7983 rsap 4 lsap 4

interface TokenRing1

mac-address 0000.3098.9c93 (has to be bit swaped -0000.0c19.39c9- to enter the
config in R1)

no ip address (if youre running between 2 eth or 2 token
no bit swap needed)

ring-speed 4

dspu enable-pu lsap 4

dspu start PU2

Testing:
