Could you please post some configuration examples and show how it works
please? Cisco CD does have a section talking about NHRP, but no good
examples.

I have no idea. I had to learn about it for my job on hub-spoke topology,
with multipoint GRE tunnels on the hub for our Cisco VPN implementation.
NHRP is pretty scary huh. There is quite a bit to it too. I am happy I have
some experience with it. It's sort of a routing protocol, but not exactly
more like a layer 3 arping protocol. So maybe Cisco will take the stance
that since it's not routing or switching, but some kindof funky protocol,
that it shouldn't be on the R&S lab?
Put that animal in the Security lab please Mr.Cisco.
It's a protocol that doesn't make the immmediate router any smarter it's
just says uhhhh, I don't really know where that is, go ask the "nhs" he
knows everything.
