Just as I thought ... I'm 70% sane :-) ... thanks to everyone.
The reason I asked is that I was doing Solie's Skynet lab
and couldn't work out how to make his bridging setup
work. The solution provided is this setup. Also
NAM-KEE explains transparent bridging over Frame using
an example which shows this setup (p29).
