The NMC class should be taken about 2-3 weeks prior to the actual lab. I've sa
id this a few times, but it's not really a class geared towards teaching people
indepth routing. It's there to put the final shine. You should already be pr
epared for it. If you're not prepared, the information overload will kill you.
This isn't a slam on you (I don't know you from Adam afterall) but if you went
to the lab a fe times already, maybe you don't know the topics as well as you s
hould? There are little nuances in the questions/tasks that lead you down a pa
rticular path. Don't get lulled into thinking that you're ready because you've
done the same labs over and over. Really get to know the protocols indepth an
d that should help you out.
Good luck on your next attempt! The NMC classes (I attended the Mentor flavor)
was very very good.
