Re: Access behind Firewall

Hey try this. GEt remote control software that allows SHARING of the
keyboard/mouse ... Use VNC as it is easy to use, setup, and shareware
... otherwise use pcAnywhere if you can afford it. Whatever...

The trick is to connect to your HOME PC just before you leave. Once you
get home, you can reverse the control of the session to your PC in the
lab.

The SSH setup would work, but requires you to have some sort of access
back into the corporate network somehow. Do you get access from outside
at all? Like telnet via a SecureID or something? All you need is to get
inside from outside via telnet or even port 80.. .whatever. Find an open
port on the firewall, whatever it is, and then put your SSH server on
that port :-))

Finally, use Google. I am sure you are NOT the first person with this
problem. You'll be surprised how many answers you get.

Good luck
