I am having some problem in understanding Frame Relay
traffic shaping
Can some one help me please
Mincir = CIR that the service provider is giving us
Cir = the LAR (local access rate to the service
provider )
Bc = 1/8 of remote port speed or 1/8 number of the
remote CIR
Now what is bc I read this two things in the same book
(Karl Solie )
It also say s that the bc must no be more than 8000
What is bc and what does it do ?
BE = this must not exceed the port speed of the remote
router
I am some how not able to understand how to calculate
the BC and BE value
I am also not getting what they do and how does the
traffic shaping work
What is the funda of in and out for these value
Can some one please help me
TIA
Bajaj
