This looks like more than I would attempt with what you are doing. For one
it looks like you are trying to translational between ethernet and Token.
Then you are going TR via dlsw to R2. But your TR is virtual. Not sure if
that would work. In my attempts I have put a TR WIN95 WS on a TR segment
and never seen it till I simply used the bridge group that was the same as
the DLSW bridge group. But I did notice ur missing source-bridge spanning
under the TR interface. but still not sure if this will make a diff with a
virtual interface.

Subject: verifying DLSW+
Hi there!
I am trying to figure out a good way of verifying that my DLSW setup.
What I have is this!
|
MACHINE1 |----R1-----------DLSW--------R2----RING2
| |
|
RING 1
The DLSW is up and running and I configured the R1 SR/TLB like this:
R1
source-bridge ring-group 5
source-bridge transparent 5 70 1 3
Int Eth0
bridge-group 3
interface Virtual-TokenRing1
no ip address
ring-speed 16
source-bridge 20 1 5
bridge 3 protocol ieee
R2
source-bridge ring-group 5
interface Virtual-TokenRing1
no ip address
ring-speed 16
source-bridge 30 1 5
I tried connecting a Win95 WS running netbios on the Ethernet0 on R1, and I
thought I would then see this machine name under reachebility on R2, but it
does not show - If I do an icanreach it of course shows up, but somehow I do
not think this verifies my work well enough...
If some DLSW+ guru out there could just read through my config and say if I
am totally wrong here I would appreciate it!
Also...if someone has a super hot document on DLSW+ and bridging in general
I would love to see it - Somehow I do not think DLSW is that hard, it is
just hard to get to the right information...
